Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative. Depending on your arrival time, you may first check in at your lodge. Later, your guide will brief you about the tour. Later, he will pick you up, and you will drive to Nakiwogo landing site. You will take a short boat ride to Mabamba Wetlands, one of Uganda’s most important birding sanctuaries. Here, you’ll board a canoe with a local guide and explore the papyrus channels in search of the rare and iconic Shoebill Stork, alongside colourful bird species such as Malachite Kingfishers, African Jacanas, and Swamp Flycatchers. Later, you’ll transfer to your hotel in Entebbe for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast before departing for Kapchorwa, home to the stunning Sipi Falls, located on the foothills of Mount Elgon in eastern Uganda. The journey, approximately 6–7 hours, offers scenic views of changing landscapes — from rolling vibrant city to lush farmlands and the dramatic eastern highlands. You’ll pass through several vibrant trading centers before stopping in Mbale town for lunch, a lively hub nestled beneath Mount Elgon, known for its friendly atmosphere and cultural diversity. After lunch, continue the ascent toward Kapchorwa, where cooler air and verdant coffee plantations announce your arrival in the Elgon region. Upon reaching Sipi, check in to your lodge overlooking the cascading falls — a breathtaking series of three waterfalls plunging over basalt cliffs. Today, after a hearty breakfast, you will set off on a guided hike around the iconic Sipi Falls, one of Uganda’s most picturesque natural wonders. The Sipi trail features three stunning waterfalls cascading along the foothills of Mount Elgon, each offering unique views & photographic opportunities. Led by a local guide, you’ll walk through lush coffee plantations, terraced slopes, & small farming communities, learning about Arabica coffee cultivation, the region’s main livelihood. The trail can be moderate to steep in sections, but the reward is breathtaking, cool mist on your face as you stand near the roaring falls, surrounded by dramatic cliffs & endless plains stretching below.

After the hike, enjoy lunch overlooking the valley before beginning your transfer to Moroto. The drive takes you through the untamed landscapes of Karamoja.
