Kigali to Volcanoes National Park

You will be picked up from the airport or picked up from the Kigali hotel and driven to Volcanoes National Park. This is a 2-hr drive. You will check in and freshen up. Later, you will enjoy lunch and the Ibyiwachu cultural entertainment. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.
There's an option of doing a city tour on this day.

Golden Monkey Tracking - Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You will have an early breakfast at 7:00 am and transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing at 7:30 am on the rules to be observed during the Golden monkey trekking. The trek will be a 4-hour exercise. Upon sighting the golden monkeys, you will spend one hour with them. You'll return for lunch, and later drive to Uganda, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Gorilla Tracking - Transfer to Kigali

You will have an early breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing at 7:30 am on the rules to be observed during gorilla trekking. You will be allocated a gorilla family to trek and guides to lead you to the gorillas. The trek will be a 2-5-hour exercise. Upon sighting the gorillas, you will spend one hour with them. You'll return for lunch and later transfer back to Kigali. You will arrive by 7 pm or earlier. You'll be dropped off at the airport for your departure flight or at the hotel in Kigali.
