Today you will arrive in Kigali, Rwanda and you will be welcomed by your safari guide who will drive you to your accommodation. Depending on your time of arrival, you will be assisted by your guide to change money or take a stroll on the calm streets of Kigali. You may also rest at your accommodation. Day 2
Kigali City Tour– Drive to Volcanoes National Park

After breakfast in the Morning, your driver guide will pick you up from the Hotel and start your 9-Day Gorilla trekking safari, you will start with a city tour in Kigali city you will visit the Genocide memorial and Kimironko market you will proceed for Volcanoes National Park arriving in the evening. You will check in at the lodge for relaxation followed by dinner and overnight at Five Volcanoes lodge.

Day 3
Golden Monkey Trekking
Golden Monkey Trekking
Before heading to the briefing centre in the volcanoes, you will have an early breakfast then your guide will drive you to the briefing centre. Golden monkeys, with their striking golden fur and playful nature, inhabit the volcanic foothills of Mgahinga National Park in Uganda and Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda. Treks lead through bamboo forests and moorlands, offering a chance to observe these rare primates in their natural habitat. Immediately after trekking you will return to the lodge for lunch after that cross to Uganda where you will go to Bwindi impenetrable forest through the border post of kyanika. Day 4
Gorilla Trekking-Lake Bunyonyi

Have breakfast and move to the rangers’ post. You will receive some briefing (from a ranger-guide) on the dos and don’ts during gorilla trekking. Thereafter, you will enter the forest for your adventure and encounter. The beauty of this rain forest is spectacular! The area offers dramatic steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The time taken (4-8 hours) and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates. Once you have located a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence. The time with these gentle but endangered giants is unforgettable. Return to the lodge, and rest after a strenuous trek. After trekking we shall head to lake Bunyonyi which is two hours drive from Bwindi. Lake Bunyonyi is in south-western Uganda between Kisoro and Kabale, close to the border with Rwanda. Day 5
Bunyonyi-Queen Elizabeth National Park

After a relaxed breakfast, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arrive in time for lunch there after head for the boat cruise on the kazinga channel for 2-3hrs before heading for a brief game drive till evening where you will head back to the lodge for dinner & Overnight at Kasenyi Safari Lodge.

Morning Game Drive - Kibale Forest

After an early breakfast, your guide will drive you to Kasenyi plains for your early morning game drive in search of wildlife like birds, cats (Leopard & Lions), Antelopes, Elephants, Buffalos etc.. For an extra $120 you can do a lion Experiential with the lion researcher at queen Elizabeth on a game drive Later in the mid-morning we head to Kibale Forest national park also known as the primate capital of the world. Arrive in time for lunch and after check-in have a relaxed even at the pool. Dinner & Overnight at Turaco Safari Lodge.

Day 7

After breakfast, head to Kibale Forest. The activity begins at 8.00 am with a briefing on the rule for trekking the chimpanzees. Afterwards, you will set off to search for them in the forest. Kibale Forest National Park, boasts the highest number of primate species in the world, including the chimpanzees. Approximately 5,000 chimpanzees live in the wild in Uganda, which makes it a perfect place to spot them!
An experienced ranger will take you chimp tracking in the morning. Once you locate the chimpanzees, you will spend an hour with them and then head back to your accommodation for lunch. Post lunch, you will be taken for Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary Walk. Later, get back to the lodge for a relaxed evening plus dinner and your overnight stay. Dinner & Overnight at Turaco Safari Lodge.

Day 8
Transfer to Entebbe/Kampala
Transfer to Entebbe/Kampala
You will wake up early in the morning, have your breakfast, end your stay in the "land of the great apes" and depart with great memories of the moments spent with the fascinating chimpanzees. You will transfer back to Kampala with lunch en-route. You will reach later in the evening and catch your evening flight back home.
