After breakfast, you’ll drive to Marangu Gate, the main entrance to Mount Kilimanjaro National Park, where your hiking adventure begins. The path winds through lush rainforest vegetation until you reach Mandara Hut (2,700 meters), offering magnificent views of the surrounding mountain slopes and plains far below. Here, you’ll enjoy a relaxing packed lunch before beginning your gentle descent. Along the way, take time to appreciate the serenity of Africa’s tallest mountain. In the afternoon, drive back to Arusha for a leisurely evening and dinner as you prepare for the next leg of your safari adventure.
