Your safari adventure begins after breakfast when your guide picks you up from your hotel in Arusha. Drive to Arusha National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic parks.
Accompanied by an armed park ranger, enjoy an exciting guided walking safari, offering a rare chance to experience the African wilderness on foot while observing giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and colobus monkeys up close.
After the walking safari, continue with a game drive through the park and around the beautiful Momella Lakes, where flamingos gather against the breathtaking backdrop of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro.
In the late afternoon, return to Arusha and check in at Karibu Heritage House, a charming boutique lodge set among lush gardens and coffee plantations. Relax and enjoy a peaceful evening before dinner.

Day 2
Tarangire national park
Tarangire national park
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its massive elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Enjoy a full-day game drive through the savannahs where lions, giraffes, and wildebeests roam freely.
Tarangire’s landscape is dotted with swamps and rivers that attract a wide variety of wildlife, offering excellent photographic moments.

Day 3

Lake manyara national park
After breakfast, take a short drive to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions, hippos, flamingos, and lush groundwater forest.
Explore the park on a game drive, following the lakeshore where you can often see elephants, blue monkeys, and troops of baboons.
Later, return to your lodge for relaxation and dinner.

Day 4
Ngorongoro crater and return to arusha
Ngorongoro crater and return to arusha
After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, often called Africa’s “Eden.”
Enjoy a half-day game drive across the crater floor, home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife — including lions, zebras, elephants, and, with luck, the rare black rhino.
Have a picnic lunch by the hippo pool before ascending the crater walls and driving back to Arusha, marking the end of your unforgettable safari with Making Memories in Africa.
