Departing from Zanzibar to Serengeti National Park (Ndutu) for Great Migration Calving Season

Early in the morning at 6:00 am (pickup time may vary depending on your hotel’s location in Zanzibar), our driver will transfer you to the airport for your direct air travel from Zanzibar to the Serengeti Ndutu airstrip. Upon landing in the heart of the migration zone, you will be warmly welcomed by your driver guide and immediately begin your first game drive across the vast plains of Ndutu

This special season (December-March) is the calving period of the Great Migration, when over 400,000 wildebeest calves are born within a few weeks. The lush green plains become alive with newborns, while predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas prowl nearby creating one of nature’s most dramatic spectacles.

Around midday, you will enjoy a delicious picnic lunch inside the park, before continuing your game drive until late afternoon. As the sun begins to set, you’ll head to your lodge for dinner (7:00 pm - 9:30 pm) and an overnight stay, surrounded by the sounds of the Serengeti.
