Day 1

Kigali - Lake Bunyonyi

Kigali - Lake Bunyonyi

At 9:00 after breakfast, the guide will pick you up from the hotel and you will drive to Lake Bunyonyi in Uganda. This is a 3hr journey. Check inn at the lodge, then go for Lunch. Later go for guided dugout canoe trips, island hopping to explore historical sites like Punishment Island. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2

Gorilla Tracking

Gorilla Tracking

You will have an early breakfast, at 5:30am the guide will transfer you to the Park headquarters for a briefing at 7:30am on the rules to be observed during Gorilla trekking. You will be allocated a Gorilla family to trek and guides to lead you to the Gorillas. The trekking will be a 2-5 hour exercise and upon sighting the Gorillas you will spend one hour with them. In the afternoon, enjoy Batwa cultural entertainment. Later drive back to Kibale town. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
