Day 1

Kigali - Volcanoes National Park

Kigali - Volcanoes National Park

At 9:00 after breakfast, the guide will pick you up from the hotel and you will drive to Volcanoes national park. This is a 2hr journey. Check inn at the lodge, then go for Lunch. Later go for ibyiwachu cultural entertainment. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2

Golden monkey tracking

Golden monkey tracking

After breakfast at 7:00am, the guide will take you to the park headquarters for the briefing.
Go for golden monkey tracking. You will be briefed on the do's and don'ts.
Golden monkey tracking Takes 4 to 6hrs
Return for lunch, later drive and cross to Uganda. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3

Gorilla Tracking

Gorilla Tracking

You will have an early breakfast, at 7:00am the guide will transfer you to the Park headquarters for a briefing at 7:30am on the rules to be observed during Gorilla trekking. You will be allocated a Gorilla family to trek and guides to lead you to the Gorillas. The trekking will be a 2-5 hour exercise and upon sighting the Gorillas you will spend one hour with them. In the afternoon, enjoy Batwa cultural entertainment. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
