Flight from Zanzibar to Serengeti - Game Drives

Your safari adventure kicks off with a morning pick-up from your lodge at 5:30 for your scheduled flight to Central Serengeti departing at 7 am and arriving at 10:15 am. Upon Arrival you will meet your drive guide, you will get a short briefing and them start your gam drive.

The Serengeti is a world unlike any other. Its endless grasslands, dotted with acacia trees and gently rolling hills, provide unmatched opportunities to observe wildlife in their natural habitat. While the park hosts a remarkable variety of species year-round, it is most famous for the awe-inspiring great migration, a natural spectacle that draws visitors from across the globe.

As the day winds down, you’ll head to your selected accommodation. You can relax, savor a freshly prepared meal, and settle in for the night, surrounded by the tranquil sounds of the African wilderness.

Central Serengeti Game Drive – Overnight at Ngorongoro Crater Rim

After breakfast at your accommodation in Serengeti, you will enjoy another full day exploring the endless plains of Serengeti, with a picnic lunch served in the park. After a rewarding game drive, you will begin your evening transfer toward the Rim of Ngorongoro Crater, where you will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay. Staying at the crater rim is especially convenient, as it minimizes travel time the following morning, with only about 15–25 minutes to descend into the crater. An early start gives you the wonderful opportunity to enjoy the crater views at sunrise and see wildlife when they are most active, hungry, and foraging. It also means fewer safari vehicles early in the morning, providing a more peaceful and comfortable experience. Additionally, staying at the rim reduces your travel time after the crater game drive, making your onward transfer to Arusha or Kilimanjaro much more convenient and comfortable.

Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive & Transfer to Arusha Airport - Back to Zanzibar

Rise early and enjoy a delicious breakfast before descending 15–25 minutes into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive experience. Carry your hot meal with you as you explore the crater floor, a natural sanctuary filled with an incredible variety of wildlife. Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your adventure. After the game drive, you will have the opportunity to visit a Maasai village for a meaningful cultural experience, followed by a comfortable transfer to Arusha Airport for your 5 pm flight to Zanzibar arriving at 6 pm upon arrival our local guide will pick you up and transfer you to your Zanzibar accommodation and no extra cost, marking the perfect conclusion to your safari journey.
