Nairobi to Tsavo West

On arrival in Nairobi at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), you will be welcomed with open arms by your safari guide. After an introduction, you will then take a scenic drive to Tsavo West National Park, which is one of Kenya's largest and most diverse wildlife reserves. During your drive within the park to your lodge, you'll have an en-route game drive, offering your first opportunities of seeing wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, and antelopes.

You will reside at Severin Safari Camp, your luxury lodge in Tsavo West. You'll have some time to relax after check-in and lunch before an afternoon game drive. Tsavo West is renowned for its abundant birdlife, hippo, black rhinoceros, and elephants, alongside predators like lions and leopards. A visit to the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, which is involved in the conservation of the endangered black rhino, may be the highlight of the day. Dinner and overnight will be at Severin Safari Camp.

Full day Tsavo West

The day is spent exploring the vast and scenic vistas of Tsavo West National Park. You will be taken for an early breakfast before embarking on a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch, allowing extensive coverage of the diverse ecosystems of the park. One of the key sights in Tsavo West is the Mzima Springs, a series of natural springs which produce over one million liters of water every day and are home to hippos and crocodiles, which can be seen from an underwater viewing room. You will also have the chance to see the characteristic Shetani Lava Flows, an enormous lava field that is solidified, offering a tough and atmospheric scenery.

Tsavo West also has red elephants here, which get their reddish coloration from wallowing in the park's reddish rich volcanic soil. There are wonderful scenery and potential for animal sightings here, including cheetahs, wild dogs, buffaloes, and a variety of birds. Dinner and overnight at Severin Safari Camp once more.

Tsavo West to Diani Beach

After an early breakfast, you will check out of Severin Safari Camp and depart Tsavo West National Park. You will go on a trip to Diani Beach, one of the world's leading beach resorts, renowned for crystal-white sands and transparent waters.

Upon arrival in Diani, you will check in at Swahili Beach Resort. You will have lunch, followed by the rest of the afternoon at leisure to unwind and enjoy the beautiful coastal environment. You can spend the time relaxing next to the resort's swimming pool, walking along the pristine white sand beach, or taking a refreshing dip in the Indian Ocean. Dinner and overnight will be at Swahili Beach Resort.

Diani Beach is famous for water sports, including snorkeling, scuba diving, kitesurfing, and stand-up paddleboarding. The crystal waters and coral reefs here are a snorkeler's heaven, particularly off Nomad Beach. Dinner and overnight will be at Diani reef.

Departure from Mombasa

In the morning, have some last minutes on the beach of Diani Beach. You may have a few minutes for a last swim or for some shopping of souvenirs, depending on your flight time.
