Day 1

Kilimanjaro Hike – Marangu Route

After an early breakfast, drive from Moshi or Arusha to Marangu Gate, the starting point of the Marangu Route one of the most popular trails on Mount Kilimanjaro. Complete registration formalities and begin your guided hike through lush tropical rainforest, home to colobus monkeys, tropical birds, and vibrant flora. Enjoy the cool mountain air as you ascend to Mandara Hut (2,700m), where you’ll stop for lunch and explore the nearby Maundi Crater for panoramic views toward Kenya. Afterward, descend back to the gate and drive to your lodge in Moshi for dinner and overnight rest.

Enjoy an afternoon game drive to witness lions, cheetahs, elephants, and countless wildebeest herds across the golden savannah. As the sun sets, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight inside the Serengeti.
