Transfer from Arusha to Tarangire National Park: approximately 2 hours.

Our professional guide will pick you up from your lodge. You will then embark on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, where your thrilling game drive awaits. Explore the park’s rich landscapes and diverse wildlife while enjoying a packed picnic lunch at a designated site within the park. After the game drive, you will be transferred to your lodge for some well-deserved relaxation, followed by a delicious dinner and overnight stay.

Tarangire National Park is named after the Tarangire River, known as the “river of warthogs.” This park is a vital water source for wildlife during the dry season. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, often seen gathering near the riverbanks You may spot giraffes gracefully roaming, bushbucks hiding in the thickets, and hartebeests grazing in the plains. Predators such as lions and leopards are never far, adding an extra thrill to your experience.

Program of the day: After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive, carrying a picnic lunch. Around midday, you will enjoy your picnic lunch at a designated site within the park, surrounded by nature and scenic views.

After the game drive, we will transfer you back to Arusha town to Arusha Planet Lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Upon arrival at Lake Manyara National Park, enjoy an unforgettable game drive through its diverse habitats, from lush groundwater forests to wide-open grassy plains and the shimmering lake. The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, playful baboon troops, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, and a vibrant array of birdlife, including flamingos and pelicans along the lakeshore.

Immersive Coffee Tour From Farm to Cup (3-4hours) -Transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for Derpature

After breakfast at Arusha Planet Lodge, you will check out and depart for a local coffee farm for an immersive, hands-on experience. This tour offers a unique opportunity to explore the journey of coffee, from cultivation to processing and tasting, while gaining insight into Tanzania’s coffee culture.

Upon arrival, you will begin with an engaging session covering the history of coffee, its varieties, and those grown in Tanzania, as well as the growing cycle. You will then take a guided walk through the farm to see how coffee is cultivated, with a chance to pick ripe cherries during harvest season.

The experience continues with traditional processing, including peeling, washing, drying, and roasting using local techniques. You will also enjoy a delicious local meal in a relaxed setting.

The tour ends with a coffee tasting session. Afterward, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure.
