Nairobi to Amboseli

On your first day of safari, we will pick you up from your location and drive towards the southeast of Nairobi, passing through the Athi-Kapiti plains and past Emali town, arriving at your lodge in time for lunch. Soon after, you will check in for lunch and have an afternoon siesta, before embarking on an afternoon game drive.

Here, you will seek to spot large herds of African elephants in this park, and if the skies are clear, be sure to take scenic photos of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain, against the backdrop of various animals, including zebras, buffalo, gazelles, and wildebeests. The park has a shallow lake that attracts a myriad of birds, including pelicans, cormorants, stilts, and Egyptian geese, among others.

At sunset, you can be sure to get great shots of the African savannah, with magical balanite trees illuminated in front of the setting sun. Later on, you will head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Explore Masai Mara, Full-Day Immersion

Today, you will enjoy unlimited game drives for the entire day! Upon finishing your breakfast, you will head straight to the park, which is the icing on the cake for anyone doing a safari to Kenya and East Africa at large. If you visit between the months of July and September, you are sure to witness the great wildebeest migration, where over 2 million wildebeests, in the company of zebras, antelopes, etc, migrate from Tanzania into Kenya and back to Tanzania, crossing the Mara River in search of greener pastures. During this migration, predators, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas, closely follow their prey and often take them down, followed by a feast for the predators. In the river, crocodiles also stay calm as they wait for the animals they hunt to cross.

At lunch time, you will enjoy it under one of the balanite trees, before proceeding on more game drives as you return to your lodge.
