Fly from Zanzibar to Arusha, then drive to Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, our friendly Mamnana Adventures driver will pick you up from your hotel in Zanzibar at 7:00 AM and transfer you to the airport for your 8:00 AM journey to Arusha. Upon arrival at 9:15 AM, your professional safari guide will warmly welcome you and give a short briefing before beginning the scenic two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park.

Named after the life-giving Tarangire River that flows through it, this park is a true gem, famous for its vast herds of elephants and majestic baobab trees. The diverse landscapes from open savannahs to lush swamps are alive with wildlife. You might spot lions stalking their prey or leopards resting gracefully in the trees. Enjoy your first exciting game drive surrounded by Tanzania’s untouched beauty.

Program of the Day: After breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up with picnic lunch boxes and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy a full game drive inside the legendary Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s natural wonders.

The crater, the world’s largest intact caldera, is home to over 30,000 large mammals including lions, elephants, buffaloes, cheetahs, and rhinos. Birdlife is abundant, from flamingos to eagles and buzzards. Take in the breathtaking scenery and incredible wildlife before returning to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After a leisurely breakfast, set off for Lake Manyara National Park, one of Tanzania’s most captivating wildlife destinations. When it’s time, your driver guide will transfer you to Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departing, whether you are heading home or continuing to another destination. We will ensure your transfer is timed according to the schedule, providing a smooth and stress free end to your safari.
