The Ngorongoro Crater is a vast volcanic caldera located in northern Tanzania, part of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. It is the world’s largest inactive, intact, and unfilled volcanic caldera. Roughly 19 km wide and 600 meters deep, the crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to an incredible animal diversity. It is a place where human life coexists with wildlife. After exploring the crater, you will continue the adventure in the Serengeti plains.

You will spend one night in Serengeti National Park in northern Tanzania. It is one of the most iconic wildlife sanctuaries in the world, renowned for its vast open plains and spectacular biodiversity. What makes it truly unique is the Great Migration—an awe-inspiring natural event where over 1.5 million wildebeest, along with hundreds of thousands of zebras and gazelles, move in a continuous loop across the Serengeti and into Kenya’s Masai Mara in search of fresh grazing.

The Serengeti is known as the home of the “Big Five” (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino) and offers some of the best predator sightings in Africa, especially lions and cheetahs. Its endless golden grasslands, acacia-dotted savannas, and dramatic skies create a timeless African landscape. After the afternoon game drive, your guide will take you to Arusha town (Arusha Airport) for your departure.
