Day 1
Mikumi National Park

You’ll be picked up from Dar es Salaam in the morning and take a train to Morogoro, where you will be picked up by a safari vehicle and transferred to Mikumi National Park. You will check in at your accommodations inside the park, then head out for a game drive in search of elephants, giraffes, lions, hippos, warthogs, buffaloes, elands, and more. Later, you will return to your cottage for dinner and your overnight stay inside the park. This allows for a long game drive until sunset.

Day 2
Mikumi National Park - Udzungwa Mountains National Park

Early in the morning, we will embark on a game drive with a packed breakfast in hand to enjoy the beautiful sunrise. Lunch will be inside the park as we prepare to check out. We will then pack our bags and start driving to Udzungwa. Upon arrival in the late evening, we will partake in activities like a biking tour and visiting a sugar and rubber plantation. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 3
Udzungwa Mountains National Park - Iringa
Udzungwa Mountains National Park - Iringa
Early in the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in Udzungwa and driven to the Udzungwa entry gate. After registering, we will start hiking, taking the Sanje route to be able to see the four-stage waterfalls. Udzungwa has species found nowhere else in the world, including the Sanje mangabey and the Iringa red colobus. You will also see different endemic plant species, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and butterflies, and have the opportunity to swim to the top and base of the waterfalls. We will then start our journey to Iringa for your overnight stay at a hostel.

Day 4
Iringa - Ruaha National Park
Iringa - Ruaha National Park
Today we will travel to Ruaha National Park and embark on a game drive in the afternoon. The park is named after the Great Ruaha River, which flows along its southeastern edge and is a focus for game viewing. Ruaha is believed to have a higher concentration of elephants than any other national park in East Africa. It is also a place where magnificent mammals like kudu, sable, and roan antelopes can easily be spotted in the miombo woodlands. The park is also a habitat for endangered wild dogs lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, elands, impalas, bat-eared foxes, and jackals. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the banda.

Day 5

Ruaha National Park - Dar es Salaam
You will go on an early morning game drive to catch the beautiful sunrise and morning wildlife activities. Afterwards you will return to your accommodations for breakfast and check out. We will then have short game drive as we leave the park and begin our drive to Iringa and Dar es Salaam.
