You will be picked up from Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport (or your hotel) at 8:00 a.m., and drive for approximately three hours to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a full-day game drive in this beautiful park, famous for its large herds of elephants, majestic baobab trees, and tree-climbing pythons. The Tarangire River, which gives the park its name, serves as a vital water source attracting a variety of wildlife including lions, leopards, and many other species. Later in the evening, you will drive to Eileen’s Trees Inn near Lake Manyara for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

After an early morning breakfast, you will pack your belongings into the safari vehicle and begin your journey toward Serengeti National Park. Enjoy an en-route game drive with a packed lunch in the jeep. Along the way, take in the breathtaking views of the Great Rift Valley and Ngorongoro Crater before arriving in the Serengeti around 3:00 p.m.

In the afternoon, experience a sunset game drive in the central Serengeti, where you’ll witness the golden plains come alive with wildlife. The Serengeti’s endless horizons and the Great Wildebeest Migration are among its main highlights, as millions of herbivores, and the predators that follow them, move in search of greener pastures. Your professional driver-guide will ensure you have the best chance to witness this incredible natural event.

Your day will conclude with dinner and an overnight stay at Kenzan Tented Camp inside Serengeti National Park.

Day 3

Western Serengeti

Today you will wake up early and enjoy a hearty breakfast before setting out for a full-day game drive in the Serengeti National Park. Your experienced driver-guide will take you to the park’s prime wildlife areas, following the movements of the Great Wildebeest Migration to ensure you witness this extraordinary spectacle.

The migration patterns vary each year, but the best time to see the herds is from June to September, while the calving season occurs from January to March. During this time, over a million wildebeests, accompanied by zebras and gazelles, traverse the vast plains in search of fresh grazing and water, followed closely by predators.

After an adventurous day in the wild, you will return to your lodge for a relaxing evening. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Kenzan Tented Camp inside Serengeti National Park.

Day 4

You will wake up early at 5:45 a.m. to enjoy breakfast while watching the sunrise over the Serengeti. After breakfast, embark on an early morning game drive until around 11:30 a.m., spotting wildlife in the golden morning light. Return to the lodge for a hot lunch and pack your belongings for the next leg of your journey.

After lunch, continue with a scenic game drive as you make your way toward Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival, settle in for dinner and an overnight stay at Farm of Dreams.

Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara

You will wake up around 5:30 a.m. for an early breakfast before descending to the Ngorongoro Crater floor. Here, you’ll have the chance to see the Big Five, various bird species, and the rare black rhino. Enjoy lunch inside the crater while taking in the stunning scenery and the high concentrations of flamingos along the lakes.

After 6–7 hours of game driving across the crater floor. Then you will be driven to Karatu for inner and overnight stay.

Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha

After breakfast, you will head to Lake Manyara for a full-day game drive inside the park. You will be able to see tree-climbing lions and flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake. You will visit a hot spring. Also, on the same day, you will visit a Maasai Boma where you will see how they live and learn about their culture and traditions. Later, you will drive back to Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay or drive directly to Arusha/ Kilimanjaro Airport.
