Flight from Dar es Salaam to Arusha / Game drive in Tarangire National Park

Early in the morning, at 5:00 am (pick-up time depends on your hotel's location in Dar es Salaam), our driver will take you to the airport for an 8:00 am flight from Dar es Salaam to Arusha. Upon arrival at 9:15 am, our driver-guide will drive you to Tarangire National Park, about 1.5 hours from Arusha, while sharing insights about the history and culture of Arusha and the Maasai people.

Tarangire National Park is well known for its biodiversity, including large elephant herds, and for its diverse landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savannah, with the Tarangire River winding through the park. You may have the experience of seeing a lion stalking its prey or leopards watching whilst relaxing in the trees above. At 4:00 pm, after the game drive, you will return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Afternoon: You will enjoy your packed lunch inside the park.

Game drive in Ngorongoro Crater / Flight back to Dar es Salaam

After breakfast at 6:30 am, you will drive to Ngorongoro for an early game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater. The early drive offers the best views of the crater and the most active wildlife.

This park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, features the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world, and is one of Africa's natural wonders. It is home to about 30,000 large mammals, including buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos, as well as many bird species, such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. You can expect to see many animals in a short time.

The game drive will end in the afternoon, allowing for a convenient transfer back to Arusha Airport for your 5:00 pm flight to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival at 7:00 pm, your driver will take you back to your hotel in Dar es Salaam.
