Arusha to Tarangire

After pickup in Arusha, either from the hotel or the Airport, you’ll drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its large herds of elephants and the tall baobab trees that fill the park. Once you arrive, you’ll go on a game drive where you might see lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and many types of birds.
You’ll enjoy lunch inside the park and continue exploring in the afternoon before heading to your lodge or campsite for dinner and an overnight stay near Tarangire.

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, you’ll leave Tarangire and drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s best places to see wildlife. You’ll descend into the crater for a full game drive, where you might spot the Big Five lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos, as well as hippos and flamingos around the lake.
After lunch inside the crater, you’ll drive back to Arusha in the late afternoon, arriving in the evening.
