Arriving In South Africa, Cape Town

On arrival at Cape Town International Airport you will be met by a representative from Escapeful Travel, who will transfer you to your hotel. You have the remainder of the day at leisure to acclimatize and relax at the hotel.

Exploring Cape Town & Surroundings

In the morning you will be collected and taken on an orientation tour of the city. You will see the Company Gardens, Greenmarket Square, the SA Museum and Bo-Kaap.

The afternoon can be spent at leisure. We suggest a visit to the V&A Waterfront, situated in the heart of Cape Town’s harbor, offering a lively atmosphere of indoor shopping, restaurants, and entertainment.

Cape Peninsula Tour

The day is spent exploring the Cape Peninsula and visiting Hout Bay on the Atlantic coast before heading off to Cape Point for lunch. In the afternoon we head back via the Boulders Beach penguin colony.

During this tour, at Boulders Beach learn about the endangered African Penguin colony, the unique coastal ecosystem it inhabits, and the vital conservation efforts being undertaken.

At Cape Point, visitors can see the point where the warm Indian Ocean currents meet the cold Atlantic Ocean currents.

The Great Kruger National Park

In the morning you will fly from Cape Town International Airport. After your flight CPT/JNB (not included in the cost) from OR Tambo Airport, you will be transferred to Hoedspruit, and then to your lodge in the Greater Kruger National Park area.

Conservation and community tourism projects provide meaningful experiences, and on this day, a visit to Nourish Eco Village will demonstrate how such projects support education and livelihoods of the neighboring local community. Proceeds from the project support 6 households, as well as contribute towards the village daycare.

Led by a local guide, you will learn about the Shangaan ways, habits, crafts and arts, and taste the local food and traditional beer. In the evening you will take a sunset game drive on the private concession, followed by dinner.

The next two days will be spent exploring the world-famous Greater Kruger wildlife area in search of Africa’s Big Five.

With its diversity of life forms from mammals to birds, game drives in open safari vehicles and/or bush walks and cultural excursions offer enlightening experiences and many unique photo opportunities.

End of Tour

After a last hearty breakfast in the African bush, you will be transferred back to Eastgate Airport in Hoedspruit for your onward flight, or transfer to OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg (not included).
