1-Day Ngorongoro Crater Spectacle

• You'll be collected from the airport.

You safari begins early and you will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha or the airport then be driven to Ngorongoro conservation area. You'll traverse 150 km of road through misty Ngorongoro Highlands, passing Maasai villages, then descend into the UNESCO-listed Ngorongoro Crater, a 260 km² caldera teeming with 25,000 animal species. Marvel at black rhinos, prides of lions, and elephants roaming golden plains. Spot flamingos on Lake Magadi and leopards in Lerai Forest. Savor a picnic lunch by Ngoitokitok Spring, hippos grunting nearby. You'll continue with your exploration until late afternoon, then return to Arusha for drop off at you hotel or the airport.
