Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast in Arusha, you will set out for Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive with picnic lunches. Stretching along the base of the striking 600-meter-high Rift Valley escarpment, Lake Manyara is often described as one of Africa’s most beautiful parks. Its stunning scenery and rich diversity of wildlife inspired Ernest Hemingway to call it “the loveliest I had seen in Africa.” The park’s compact game-viewing circuit captures the essence of a Tanzanian safari, offering everything from dense forests to open floodplains. As you enter, the winding road passes through a lush, jungle-like forest where baboon troops relax by the roadside, blue monkeys leap through ancient mahogany trees, and shy bushbucks move quietly in the shadows. In the evening, you’ll retire to your lodge & camp for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of the wild.

After breakfast, you will head to Serengeti National Park for a full-day game drive with picnic lunches. After an early breakfast around 5:50 am, descend into Ngorongoro Crater at 6:00 am for a 6–7 hour game drive, enjoying a picnic lunch on the crater floor. Explore this World Heritage Site up close and witness its remarkable permanent wildlife population, sustained year-round by plentiful grazing and water. In the afternoon, drive Karatu and settle in at Omega View for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the serene landscapes of the area.

You will be picked up from your lodge at 7:30 am for a safari briefing before departing for Tarangire National Park.
