Leave Tarangire and drive to Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival, you will have the opportunity to explore this remarkable park, the largest in Tanzania and one of the most celebrated wildlife destinations in Africa. Serengeti boasts an exceptional ecosystem that supports an incredible variety of animals and is the starting point of the world-famous Great Migration. The park borders Kenya’s Masai Mara, and it is between these two parks that the migration takes place each year. Although there are no direct gates linking the two parks, the drive between them takes approximately six hours. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the campsite.

Depart after breakfast with packed lunch and drive to the Ngorongoro Crater rim, where you will spend several hours exploring this breathtaking natural wonder. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, spanning about 14 kilometers in diameter. Its rim is encircled by extinct volcanoes, while the crater floor is dotted with waterholes and lush vegetation that sustain over 30,000 animals and numerous bird species. Later in the afternoon, drive to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
