Day 1

Your adventure begins early with a scenic drive from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi or directly from Airport to Marangu Gate, the starting point of the Kilimanjaro climb. After registration, meet your professional mountain guide and begin your day hike through the lush rainforest zone.
The trail winds beneath towering trees draped in moss, alive with birdsong and the calls of blue monkeys. Along the way, your guide will share fascinating insights about the mountain’s flora, fauna and the life of climbers ascending Africa’s tallest peak.

Stop for a picnic lunch at Mandara Hut (2,700m), where you can rest, enjoy panoramic views and take a short walk to Maundi Crater for stunning vistas of Kenya’s plains on clear days.

After descending through the forest, you’ll return to the base and drive to Kinga Homes in Moshi for dinner and overnight stay a peaceful stay surrounded by mountain views and a relaxing garden atmosphere.

Day 2

Moshi – Tarangire National Park - Karatu

Moshi – Tarangire National Park - Karatu

After the early breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park the 4-hour scenic drive across Tanzania’s northern highlands.

Upon arrival, enter the park for a full-day game drive through its rolling savannahs dotted with ancient baobab trees.

Tarangire is home to Tanzania’s largest elephant herds and a rich variety of wildlife including lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests and countless bird species. The Tarangire River serves as a magnet for animals, especially during the dry season, offering superb photographic opportunities.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park, followed by an afternoon and noon game drive through the woodlands and riverbanks, where you may encounter predators stalking their prey or elephants cooling off in the water.

By the evening you will exit the park and head to Marera Valley Lodge in Karatu, a charming lodge surrounded by lush gardens. Relax with a refreshing drink, enjoy a delicious dinner and unwind by the pool or fireplace.

After an early breakfast at the lodge, depart to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most spectacular wildlife destinations. The crater floor is a self-contained ecosystem brimming with wildlife including the Big Five Animals of Africa (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino), alongside hippos, zebras, wildebeests, and flamingos shimmering across Lake Magadi.

Enjoy a full-day game drive in this natural wonder, with a picnic lunch at a scenic site overlooking the hippo pool. Marvel at the dramatic scenery, diverse habitats and close-up encounters with animals that make Ngorongoro one of the best safari experiences in the world.
After the lunch break, you will proceed with the afternoon and noon game drive.

In the noon, begin your scenic drive back toward Arusha or continuing onward to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your evening flight marking the end of a truly unforgettable journey from mountain to savannah.
