Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast at your Arusha accommodation, you’ll meet your driver-guide for a short safari briefing before departing for Tarangire National Park. The Park stretches along the Tarangire River and features rolling hills, acacia woodlands, and towering baobab trees. During the dry season, the river and southern swamps attract an abundance of wildlife, including some of Africa’s largest elephant herds. Tarangire is also home to rare species such as the greater kudu, fringed-eared oryx, and the ashy starling. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing your game drive into the late afternoon. In the evening, you’ll drive to Karatu Safari Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Enjoy a morning game drive, observing the park’s incredible diversity of animals before stopping for lunch amidst the stunning scenery. In the afternoon, continue your adventure with another game drive, capturing more unforgettable moments. Day 3

On this day, you will descend over six hundred meters into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of wildlife viewing. Sustained by a permanent water supply and rich vegetation, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area supports a remarkable variety of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippopotamus, and large African elephants. The crater is also famous for its high concentration of predators such as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard, which often requires a trained eye to spot. Along the lake shores, you may also observe flocks of flamingos and numerous other water birds. In the late afternoon, you will proceed to the campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area, located in northern Tanzania, is home to the vast volcanic Ngorongoro Crater and the legendary Big Five elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, and rhinoceros. Each year, huge herds of wildebeest and zebra traverse its plains during the great migration, while livestock belonging to the semi-nomadic Maasai graze alongside the wildlife. The area is also rich in human history, with hominin fossils in Olduvai Gorge dating back millions of years. In the afternoon, you will leave the conservation area and travel back to Arusha.
