Day 1

Your guide or driver will meet & greet you and transfer you from Maun International Airport or your hotel to the starting point of the tour.

Once you are picked up, you can enjoy a visit to one of the town's heritage sites, such as the old bridge and the kgotla, followed by a guided tour of the museum, then a walk around the market to immerse yourself in the daily life of a Batswana, learn about their customs and traditions, and get firsthand anecdotes from your host. Escaping from the bustle of the markets, the tour will take you to a vibrant Maun Café where you will enjoy a traditional meal. Finally, visit the basket-weaving ladies of Maun producing some of the finest baskets in Africa.
