Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will complete security and document checks, including your passport, visa, and health requirements. After collecting your luggage, proceed to the exit where your Paramount Gorilla Expeditions driver-guide will be waiting with a sign bearing your name. You’ll be assisted with your bags and transferred comfortably to your hotel in Arusha, marking the start of your Tanzania safari experience.

After breakfast, you’ll be picked up from your hotel by your assigned driver-guide and depart for a full-day game drive in Tarangire National Park. Often called one of Africa’s hidden treasures, Tarangire is perfect for travellers who appreciate wilderness and tranquillity. The park is named after the Tarangire River, the only permanent water source during the dry season, attracting vast herds of elephants, zebras, and antelopes. Its landscape is strikingly diverse—dotted with ancient baobab trees, open savannah, and towering termite mounds. Its permanent water sources sustain a rich wildlife population of over 25,000 large mammals, including lions, leopards, black rhinos, hyenas, zebras, waterbucks, baboons, and many more. Traverse the crater floor, marvelling at its natural beauty and abundant wildlife, before ascending in the afternoon. Following this unforgettable experience, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport for your 8:00 pm flight to Zanzibar.
