Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, our company representative will meet you for a warm welcome and a briefing about your safari adventure. You will then be driven to Amboseli National Park, a world-renowned reserve famous for its massive elephant herds and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. Arrive at your lodge or tented camp in time for lunch, with a short period to relax and settle in. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive, exploring the park’s open plains, swamps, and woodlands while spotting elephants, zebras, giraffes, and other wildlife. Watch as the golden sun sets over the iconic savanna, creating picture-perfect moments. After the game drive, return to your tented camp or lodge for dinner and overnight, enjoying the peaceful sounds of the African wilderness as you prepare for the adventures ahead.

Wake up early for breakfast before departing Amboseli National Park and journeying toward Lake Nakuru National Park. En route, enjoy a brief stop at the breathtaking Great Rift Valley, capturing panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. Arrive at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge in time for lunch and some relaxation. In the late afternoon, set out at 4:00 pm for an evening game drive, exploring the park’s diverse ecosystems. Lake Nakuru is renowned for its spectacular birdlife, including massive flocks of pink flamingos that gather along the soda lake, as well as a variety of wildlife such as rhinos, giraffes, and buffaloes. The park also offers opportunities for hiking, picnics, and exceptional photography. As the sun sets, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the peaceful sounds and beauty of the Rift Valley.

Today, depart for the legendary Masai Mara, driving through the dramatic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley, the longest rift in the Earth’s crust. Arrive at your camp in time for a late lunch, then relax briefly before setting out on your afternoon game drive, exploring the savanna teeming with lions, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, antelopes, and gazelles. Keep an eye out for cheetahs, and with luck, the elusive leopard. Over the next two days, enjoy private game drives with your dedicated driver-guide, seeking the Big Five and witnessing the Mara’s incredible wildlife and scenery up close. Return to your lodge each evening for dinner and overnight, surrounded by the sights and sounds of this iconic African wilderness.

After breakfast, set out on a full-day game drive across Masai Mara National Reserve, one of Kenya’s most celebrated wildlife destinations. Pack a picnic lunch to enjoy along the banks of the Mara River, where animals often gather to drink. During the peak season from July to October, you may witness the wildebeest migration, as thousands of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles traverse the plains in one of nature’s most dramatic events. The Mara is home to a variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, and rhinos, offering excellent opportunities to spot the Big Five. In the evening, board your flight to Kigali, Rwanda, where you will continue your East African adventure. Upon arrival in Kigali, you will be met by your guide and transferred to your accommodation, ready to rest and prepare for the next leg of your journey into the wilds of Uganda.

Wake up early for a once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, one of the most biodiverse rainforests in the world. After a briefing by expert rangers, trek through dense, misty forest trails in search of a mountain gorilla family, navigating vines and steep slopes. The trek can last from a few hours to half a day, depending on the gorillas’ location, but every step builds anticipation. Once you locate the gorillas, spend an hour observing them up close, watching them feed, play, and interact within their family. Photography is permitted, allowing you to capture unforgettable memories of these gentle giants in their natural habitat. After this incredible encounter, trek back to the starting point and receive your official gorilla trekking certificate, a treasured memento of this extraordinary experience. Depart Bwindi and drive to the serene Lake Bunyonyi, Africa’s second-deepest lake, surrounded by misty hills and dotted with over 29 islands.
