Welcome to Uganda the Pearl of Africa: Upon arrival you shall be welcomed by an Terenga Safaris guide at Entebbe International Airport from where you will transfer to your booked accommodation for the night. Depending on your time of arrival at the airport, you will have lunch before transferring to your hotel in Kampala for some rest as you prepare for the ultimate Uganda Safari experience the following day.

Day 2
Pick up and Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park with an en-route stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

After your early morning breakfast, you will be picked by an Terenga Safaris guide and start your 4 to 5 hours journey to Murchison Falls National Park in Masindi in Western Uganda. You will have a first stop over at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola where you will have an hour on-foot rhino tracking experience. After the rhino tracking experience you will proceed to Masindi for lunch before proceeding to visit the top of Murchison Falls the powerful falls where the Nile squeezes through an 8m wide gorge and plunges with a thunderous roar into the Devil’s Cauldron creating a trademark rainbow.
From the falls you will continue in the park to check in the lodge.

Have your breakfast very early in the morning, depart for an early morning game drive as early as 6am and head into the park and look out for view the different mammals such as elephants, lions, leopards, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes and antelopes like Uganda kob, topi, eland, bushbucks. You will have time to relax for lunch and after join the boat cruise to
take you to bottom of Murchison falls as you spot aquatic wildlife life such as hippos, Nile crocodiles, and water birds. On return Catch up with sunset view before dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Exit Murchison Falls National Park and Transfer to Kibale National Park

After your morning breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and start your journey to Kibale National Park in Fort Portal in Western Uganda through the tea plantations and rolling hills to reach Fort portal town. While in Fort portal you will have an en-route lunch and continue your journey to Kibale National Park. After checking into the lodge, you will embark on a guided
nature walk in the Bigodi wetlands and you have a chance to spot 138 bird species.

Day 5
Chimpanzee Trekking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

You will wake up early in the morning for breakfast and then report at the park headquarters at Kanyanchu at 7:30am for briefing by the guides about the dos and don’ts while with the chimpanzees. You will then embark on a trek for the search of the chimpanzees and once you have spotted a group, you will spend one hour with them observing their different behaviours and you will also spot other primates in the forest. After the chimpanzee tracking experience you will be awarded a chimpanzee tracking certificate and after you will return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch you will check out of the lodge and start the journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Have your breakfast very early in the morning, depart for an early morning game drive as early as 6am to the rolling plains of Uganda’s second largest National Park and look out for lions, leopards, Jackson hartebeest, buffaloes, hippos, waterbucks, warthogs, leopards, Uganda Kobs, oribis, and elephants. For any birder, there are quite a number of birds to sight too during the drive. Return to the lodge for some rest time and lunch. After lunch at the lodge, you will go for a 2-hour boat cruise trip on the Kazinga Channel which connects Lakes George and Edward and you will surely be fascinated by the concentrations of giant hippos, buffaloes, elephants and crocodiles among others. You will also see many varieties of birds
at the water shores. You will have dinner and overnight at the lodge.

The animals in their different families, clans, and groups are out starting on their day. Notice the difference between the animals in their natural habitat and those caged in zoos. Have a game drive in Kasenyi plains in the open-roof safari cars. Proceed to Ishasha, famed for the tree-climbing lions and search for them with help of rangers. Lunch will be a picnic or at the lodge.

Today we will start our journey to the home of the gentle giants of Bwindi. This fulfilling journey takes us through the Kigezi Highlands with great scenery of terraced hills. Lunch will be along the way or at the lodge depending on the time of your arrival. You'll lodge in or adjust to the impenetrable forest. This will offer you great resting as you prepare for the next day’s trek.

The highlight of your safari will be meeting the gentle giants of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park! Enjoy the fullness of the impenetrable forest abounding with life, host to several species of birds, butterflies, primates and mammals. Eventually, with the help of your guide who is also a park ranger. You will find yourself face to face with the enormous and rare mountain gorillas. The trekking experience takes anything from one hour (rarely) to about 8 hours to accomplish. However, you only have one hour with gorillas to capture your finest moment. Suggested activities for those not interested in gorilla tracking are a community village walk or a short guided forest walk.

Early morning drive from Bwindi and head to Mgahinga gorilla national park. This is about 2 hours drive. Embark on golden monkey trekking. This trekk will take you to the golden monkeys, an endemic species of Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in southwestern Uganda, you will trekk through the jungles of Mgahinga National park, consisting of bamboo and a variety of indigenous plants like giant lobelia. Your ranger guide will tell you about the national park’s history and the fauna and flora that the park holds during the trekk. The trek takes about 2-3 hours, Get back to your reserved accomodation for an overnight stay.

The journey to Lake Mburo National Park is through beautiful landscapes, plantations, and farms. Have a visit to a Cultural Museum—exhibiting the life of the native people of the area. Have lunch/picnic at a restaurant along the way. Arrive in the park later that afternoon and take a boat trip on Lake Mburo.

Transfer to Entebbe
After an early breakfast, we will go on a game drive in Lake Mburo National Park. We will later head to Entebbe, with a stopover at the famed Equator line. Have lunch and then proceed to the airport arriving in the afternoon.
