Day 1

Kick off your 8 day odyssey with pick up from Nairobi headed south towards the legendary Amboseli National Park. Sit back and enjoy the changing scenery as the busy capital slowly gives way to colorful rural towns on the back drop of the scenic Kapiti plains. Maasai homesteads and local herdsmen along the way usher you into Amboseli with Mount Kilimanjaro slowly beginning to reveal itself far beyond the horizon creating anticipation for the adventure ahead

Arrive at your lodge in time for a hearty lunch and rest away from the hot equatorial sun before heading out for your first immersive evening game drive across the dusty wilderness. Day 2

Wake up to a hearty breakfast with spectacular views of Kilimanjaro towering then grab your gear and head out for a full day game drive timed perfectly to coincide with peak wildlife activity. Early mornings offer some of the best predator sightings as they feed or rest after a night of hunting while elephant herds slowly emerge in search of food.

Venture through swampy springs and open grasslands in search of action as movement across the ecosystem increases as before breaking for picnic lunch at the Observation Hill with sweeping views of the park and most picturesque views of Kilimanjaro.

Afterwards embark on exploring the park as you make way to visit a nearby Maasai community village for cultural immersion or continue with afternoon game drive through the wetlands where bathing elephants, hippos and birdlife dominate. Enjoy more sightings as you head to exit stopping to capture wildlife against the mountain backdrop before returning to camp for relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 3

Amboseli - Naivasha

Set out after breakfast leaving the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro behind as you journey north towards the magical Great Rift Valley. The landscape gradually transforms from open savannah into dramatic escarpments with a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint where breathtaking panoramas stretch across the valley floor ushering you into one of Kenya’s most scenic regions. Continue to arrive in Naivasha in time for sumptuous buffet lunch and relaxation sipping in the cool lake breeze contrasting the hot savannah atmosphere. Afterwards head out for a scenic boat safari among hippo and bird filled fresh water Lake Naivasha where African fish eagles dive dramatically to snatch fish from the lake surface. An optional visit to Crescent Island can be included for a thrilling guided walking safari among giraffes, zebras and antelopes roaming freely against the tranquil Rift Valley backdrop. Later hop on the boat for a ride back to shore and transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4

Naivasha

Naivasha

After breakfast, set out for an active morning at Hell's Gate National Park one of the few parks where you can explore on foot or by bicycle. Ride or walk through dramatic gorges, towering cliffs and open plains where wildlife moves freely around you, offering a refreshing change from vehicle based safaris. The cool morning hours make it ideal to enjoy the scenery before the day warms up while anticipation builds for the next stage of your journey into the famed Maasai-mara. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation as the pace slows along the lakeside. In the afternoon, visit Elsamere the former home of Joy Adamson now a peaceful museum set on the shores of Lake Naivasha. Learn about their conservation work while enjoying a relaxed afternoon tea or coffee in the tranquil gardens surrounded by birdlife. Later return to the lodge to unwind and enjoy the calm atmosphere before dinner and overnight stay. This day can be spent in Nakuru National park depending on preference.
