Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will set out on a game-viewing drive along the Sogore River Circuit, a trail that winds through the plains south of the Seronera River. This route offers excellent opportunities to spot lions, Thomson’s gazelles, topis, ostriches, and even cheetahs. At the conclusion of your morning exploration, be sure to visit the Serengeti Visitor Centre, conveniently located near the Seronera Lodge.

In the afternoon, you will follow the Kopjes Circuit, which takes you around the Maasai kopjes in a counterclockwise direction. These weathered granite outcrops are scattered across the plains and serve as self-contained ecosystems, offering shade and water pools after rainfall. During the dry season, the kopjes become particularly valuable for wildlife observation, as lions often lie in wait near the watering holes. Interestingly, these rocky outcrops are also home to impressively large cobras, adding another fascinating element to your safari experience.
