Your driver-guide will meet you either in Arusha or at Arusha Airport, and together you will begin the transfer to Tarangire National Park. Named after the Tarangire River, which winds through the park and provides a vital water source for wildlife, this serene park is renowned for its elephant migrations, diverse birdlife, and authentic safari atmosphere.

Enjoy a packed lunch at midday, then continue your afternoon game drive before heading to Ang’ata Tarangire Camp, located inside the park, where you will spend the night surrounded by nature.

Be sure to wake up early today to make the most of your descent into the famous Ngorongoro Crater. Upon entering the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you’ll be captivated by the stunning landscapes surrounding you. The view from the crater’s edge is nothing short of spectacular, offering a glimpse into one of the world’s natural wonders.

This inactive volcano, around 3 million years old and 20 km² in size, is the largest unbroken volcanic caldera in the world. Its natural borders create a unique haven for wildlife. Inside the crater, you can spot the Big Five, including the rare black rhino, alongside hyenas, zebras, buffaloes, and elephants—a perfect setting for an unforgettable safari experience.

After exploring the crater and its groundwater forest, you will drive back to Arusha, returning to your hotel by mid-afternoon, concluding this incredible journey.
