Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your safari driver will meet you and transfer you to Arusha. The drive takes approximately one hour, bringing you to your hotel for the evening, Tulia Boutique Hotel & Spa. This charming property offers a relaxing stop before you embark on your safari adventure the following day.
Your stay is booked on a bed and breakfast basis, though dinner can be arranged at the hotel for an additional cost. Alternatively, you may wish to explore Arusha’s vibrant dining scene and sample some authentic African cuisine at one of the nearby restaurants. Conveniently, Tulia Boutique Hotel & Spa is within walking distance of the city center, making it easy to experience a bit of local life before your journey into the bush.

Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your lodge and driven to Tarangire National Park for an exciting full-day game drive. Tarangire is renowned for hosting the largest elephant population in northern Tanzania, and during the dry season, the wildlife viewing is truly spectacular.
As you explore the park’s sweeping savannahs and iconic baobab-dotted landscapes, you’ll encounter vast herds of zebra and wildebeest, as well as lions, leopards, spotted hyenas, and four of the famed Big Five. Cheetahs and a variety of gazelle species also roam these plains, offering exceptional photographic opportunities.

Day 3
Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Manyara National Park, entering through the park’s southern gate for a full-day game drive. Lake Manyara, a beautiful alkaline lake set against the dramatic backdrop of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, is an ideal destination for a one-day safari experience.
The park offers a rich diversity of wildlife and breathtaking scenery. It is renowned for its large troops of baboons, abundant birdlife, and lush groundwater forests dominated by towering fig trees. You’ll also have the chance to spot a wide range of herbivores, including hippos, impalas, elephants, wildebeests, buffalos, warthogs, and giraffes.
With a bit of luck, you may even encounter the park’s elusive lions sometimes seen lounging in trees and the occasional leopard.

Day 4
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After breakfast, you will depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with picnic lunch boxes. After registration, descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater for a memorable game drive. Known as the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” this UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to about 25,000 large mammals living within its steep walls. You’ll have the chance to spot black rhinos, leopards, black-maned lions, and colorful flamingos along the crater’s lakes.
Surrounded by dramatic scenery and abundant wildlife, the crater offers one of Africa’s most unique safari experiences. Later in the afternoon, you will ascend the crater rim and drive back to Arusha, before continuing to the airport for your flight home, concluding your unforgettable Tanzanian adventure.
