Johannesburg to Kruger National Park and enjoy a Sunset/Night Safari

Guests will be collected from various lodges and hotels within a 5km radius of the OR Tambo International Airport between 6:30 am and 6:45 am, and from the OR Tambo International Airport shuttle and bus terminal between 6:45 and 7:00 am. We depart at 7:15 am.

Clients flying into Nelspruit (KMI Airport) will be transferred to your lodge in Hazyview at no additional cost.

We will travel directly to the lodge, arriving between 11:30 am – 12:00 pm.

Guests will have time to relax, unpack and enjoy a light lunch. There will also be more than enough time to enjoy a swim or a walk around the beautiful lodge and its walking trails. We depart from the lodge at around 15:45 pm for a spectacular Sunset / Night Safari in the Kruger National Park. Since the sun sets earlier in the winter months, clients will have a longer Night Safari, and clients travelling in the summer will enjoy beautiful sunsets while on safari. We return to the lodge at around 20:00 pm for a hearty dinner.

Full Day Open Vehicle Safari in the Kruger National Park

Sunrise is the ideal time of day to enter the park, as it is still cool outside. Not knowing what to expect, after a short drive to the park, we enter the gates and your guide will take you to some of the best areas of the park to find the wildlife including the Big 5 and plains game. This is also the finest time of the day to see predators.
The lodge will arrange breakfast packs and your guide will stop about 3 hours into the safari for a breakfast and bathroom break, and a chance to get coffee. The beautiful Kruger Park offers a variety of eco zones and the area is home to different types of wildlife. We visit rivers and watering holes as well as Plains and Bushveld regions, ensuring that our guests get to see a wide range of animals.
We then stop for lunch (own account), time for curio shopping or enjoy a cold beer! The guide will continue with the safari heading towards the lodge, we arrive around 15.30 – 16.00 pm, time to relax, swim and have a great dinner.

Full Day Panorama Tour

Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the lodge at 07:30 am before departing at 8:00 am for the breathtaking Panorama Route. Visit iconic natural wonders including God’s Window, offering sweeping views over the escarpment; Bourke’s Luck Potholes, where centuries of water erosion created fascinating rock formations; and the magnificent Blyde River Canyon, the world’s third largest and only green canyon. See the famous Three Rondavels, towering rock formations resembling traditional African huts, and the beautiful Lisbon Falls. Enjoy lunch (own account) and curio shopping in the charming town of Graskop, known for its delicious pancakes. After a day of unforgettable scenery and exploration, return to the lodge around 16:00 pm to relax, swim, and enjoy dinner before your next Kruger Park adventure. You will prepare for an early start the following day as we go on the last Kruger Park morning safari.

Morning Safari and Transfer back to Johannesburg

Begin your final day with an early start as we depart before sunrise for one last thrilling Kruger National Park safari. Your guide will focus on spotting animals missed on previous drives, especially lions and leopards, which are most active in the cool morning hours. With over 148 mammal and 500 bird species, every safari in Kruger is unique, offering new wildlife encounters and scenic routes. After a coffee and breakfast stop, continue exploring before returning to the lodge around 12 pm to freshen up. Depart at 12:30 pm for the transfer back to Johannesburg, arriving at OR Tambo International Airport or nearby lodges between 17:00–18:00.
Note: For departing flights, please book no earlier than 20:00 for domestic and 21:00 for international flights.
