After breakfast, you’ll embark on a morning game drive along the Sogore River Circuit, a scenic route winding through the plains south of the Seronera River. This area offers excellent chances to spot lions, Thomson’s gazelles, topis, ostriches, and cheetahs in their natural habitats. After your morning exploration, visit the Serengeti Visitor Centre, conveniently located near the Serengeti Seronera Lodge.
In the afternoon, continue along the Kopjes Circuit, which takes you around the Maasai Kopjes — ancient granite outcrops rising from the plains. These formations create unique microhabitats, offering shade and collecting water after rainfall. During the dry season, they become prime wildlife-viewing spots, as lions often wait nearby for prey drawn to the scarce water.
