3-Day Mobile Camping with Johills

Arrival

We will pick you up at Maun, e.g. the airport, and then drive you to the Okavango Delta for about 2 hours. You will probably see many wild animals in the pristine nature of the Delta. Upon arrival at the camp, you will be welcomed by our crew and also have plenty of time to refresh. Before heading out for the first game drive, our guide will brief you and ensure everything proceeds smoothly. Back at the camp, you will again have time for yourself, or you can sit with us at the fireplace, before we go on a short walk in the bush. Again, our guide will make sure that you have all the necessary information and skills needed for this experience. After this insightful trip, we will have dinner before a late-night drive.

Game Drives and Bush Walk

After waking up, you will have breakfast before going on a morning game drive. At that time of the day, it is very likely that you will see many animals like predators (e.g. lions and hyenas) who slowly start retreating by then. You will also get to see many other animals and plants that the Delta has to offer, a vast array of flora and fauna. Back at the camp, you will have lunch, and afterwards you can relax with us by the fire. Following this, we will go on an even longer and more educational bushwalk with our certified guide. After this, you can refresh before we do a second game drive, followed by a sundowner. Upon our return, we will have dinner and sit by the fireplace.

Departure

Today, we say goodbye to you. After waking up and having breakfast, you will have plenty of time to gather all your belongings before we transfer you back to Maun Airport or to a different location in Maun, if requested.
