Depart Arusha after an early breakfast and drive (or fly, if preferred) to the world-famous Serengeti National Park. As you travel through the Ngorongoro highlands, the scenery transforms from lush forested slopes to the wide-open grasslands of the Serengeti.

Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or camp before heading out for an afternoon game drive. The Serengeti’s vast plains are alive with wildlife — from prides of lions and graceful giraffes to herds of wildebeest and elephants roaming the savannah.

Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight under the star-studded African sky.

Full Game drive at Central Serengeti

Spend two full days exploring the Serengeti, one of the most spectacular ecosystems on Earth. Early morning and afternoon game drives will take you through different areas of the park, each offering unique landscapes and wildlife sightings.

Depending on the time of year, you may witness the Great Migration, as millions of wildebeest and zebras move across the plains in search of greener pastures. Even outside migration season, the park is home to the Big Five—lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and rhino—along with cheetahs, hyenas, and countless antelope species.

Between drives, relax at your lodge and take in panoramic views of the endless plains.

In the afternoon, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World”. The crater floor offers some of the best wildlife viewing in Africa, including lions, elephants, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and the rare black rhino.
