5-Day Kalahari Tour

• You'll be collected from the airport.

Arrival

You will be picked up early in Maun and then have a drive of approximately 5 hours to the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. It is a vast biotope that also stretches to Namibia and South Africa. On the drive you will already have the chance to experience the Botswanian landscape from up close. Once you arrive at the camp, you will be welcomed by the rest of the crew and have time to refresh, as well as get accustomed to the new environment. The crew will make sure that you have everything you need and give you the necessary information for your stay. Later on, there will be a game drive with a qualified guide which will give you exciting insight into this amazing part of the world. Back at the camp you will be having dinner.

The tents (larger than 3x3m.) are equipped with a private veranda and a private bathroom with shower, sink, and toilet. All camp chores will be carried out by the staff.

Game Drives in the CKGR

After waking up and having had breakfast, you will be going on a morning game drive in the Kalahari which always is an interesting experience as temperatures usually are still cooler then and there is a high chance of seeing animals like predators, who are slowly retreating from the night before. Back at the camp, you will be having time for yourself and refreshing. Followed by this, there will be lunch as well as another game drive. Once you are back at the camp again, you will be having time for yourself and can sit by the fire place, before having dinner.

Note: On your last day in the CKGR you will be going on a night game drive which also is a very unique and thrilling experience.

Departure

This is the day of departure. After waking up early and having had breakfast, you will be having time to gather all your belongings before the camp crew will say goodbye to you, and drive you back to Maun. The adventure in the CKGR is over.
