Day 1

Arrival Entebbe Airport & transfer to Kampala (1hrs drive)

On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, the Company Rep will be waiting to receive you and there-on transfer you to Kampala.
You will have a pre-safari briefing on this day to answer all your queries, get all clarifications about the safari.

Dependent on your time of arrival, you will enjoy an afternoon tour of Kampala with a visit to the 4Africa Offices one of the local community initiatives that helps improve the lives of women and children through Craft. There are plenty of beautiful souvenirs you can purchase from purses, necklaces, animated stuffed Knit dolls & so much more
Arrivals on Wed, Fri & Sunday the evenings will be spent at Ndere Cultural Centre taking you around Ugandan Culture through Music & Dance. African Buffet dinner will be served before proceeding for overnight.

Day 2

Transfer from Kampala to Kibale National Park (Approx 6hrs drive)

Early morning breakfast & checkout for your transfer to Kibale National Park.
Arrival in time for lunch at Chimpanzee Forest Lodge.

Later afternoon transfer for the 3 hr nature walk in the Bigodi Wetlands Sanctuary. The “Home of the Great Blue Turaco” is a real bird watcher’s paradise. This wonderful place shelters over 200 species of birds including Hornbills, Turacos, Parrots, Cranes, Kingfishers and many more swamp endemics. Furthermore, the sanctuary is the home of 8 species of primates, including the Black and White Colobus, Red Colobus, Red Tailed Monkey, Grey Cheeked Mangabey, Olive Baboon, L’hoest Monkey, Vervet Monkey and the Blue Monkey.
You will later be transfered back to Chimpanzee Forest Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, it’s an early start to the Kibale Forest National Park headquarters arriving by 8am to track the habituated Chimps. These engaging apes, our closest living relative, are great fun to watch as they play and fight in the fruit trees.
The experienced guides will introduce you to the different members of the chimp families, as well as the birds and plant life of the forest. The trails through the forest are generally easy to navigate and you are always in company of Park Rangers who will explain the fascinating traditional uses of the forest plant species – the forest elephant, smaller and hairier that its savannah counterpart, moves seasonally into areas of Kibale Forest.
Return to the lodge in time for lunch.
Afternoon tour of the Crater lakes within the area.
Dinner and overnight at Chimpanzee Forest Lodge.

After breakfast check out transferring from Kibale National Park to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (North)
There will be occasional stops for refueling, leg stretching & lunch.
Arriving late afternoon to check-in have dinner and overnight at Ride 4 a Woman.

Early morning transfer to the trailhead in Bwindi Forest where you will join other guests for a briefing before setting off on the trek. Since gorillas move constantly in search of food, the trek duration will vary, however the anticipation and the beauty of the forest make it all worthwhile. After the gorillas have been located you will spend an amazing hour in their company. Return to your accommodation later afternoon and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Breakfast, lunch & dinner are included
A lunch park will be provided from Ride 4 a woman just incase you stay longer in the Forest.

Loose fitting comfortable natural colored clothing, good hiking shoes, insect repellent and a wide hat are recommended to make your trek easy. Any medical conditions must be reported in advance so the necessary assistance can be provided.
Each guest will be allocated a local porter to further ease the trek while supporting the local community.

Day 6

Early morning breakfast and check out – transfering to Lake Mburo National Park, stopping en-route for lunch in Mbarara Town.
Check-in the afternoon and have an afternoon game drive.
You will settle in for early dinner as you get ready for the night game drive.
Lake Mburo is one of the few parks in Uganda where you can go on a night game drive! At night there is a whole variety of animals that you would not see during the day including bush pigs, genet cat and white tailed mongoose to mention but a few. Night drives also give you the best chance of finding leopards, spotted hyena. It is an interesting experience out at night with a spotlight, an unusual twist on your regular game drives.

Dinner and overnight at Eagles Nest Camp – Self contained Tents.

Day 7

In company of trained park rangers take an early morning nature walk to the Rwonyo Salt lick Area.
This salt lick is situated around a shallow water hole & wildlife in this Park find this saltlick a favorite place to hang around as they enjoy the salt taste. Among the wildlife species that often visit the salt lick are the Impalas, Waterbucks, Bushbucks, Uganda Kob, Elands, Topis, along with zebras, hippos, warthogs, the Rothschild’s giraffes and many more. Activity lasts approximately 3hrs.

Return to Eagles Nest for full breakfast checking out and returning to Entebbe for your departure flight.
Lunch on this day will be in Entebbe Town at either Café Javas, Protea Hotel or Lake Victoria Entebbe Hotel before you final transfer to the Airport.
