After breakfast, your lusungulwamtwa safari guide will pick you up from your accommodation for a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, approximately 2.5 hours from Arusha. Famous for its large elephant herds, the park is named after the Tarangire River, the vital water source for wildlife during the Dry season. Along the way, you may encounter giraffes, bushbuck, and hartebeest, with predators like lions and leopards often nearby. After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, a small yet remarkably diverse reserve offering exceptional wildlife and scenic beauty. Nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley Escarpment, the park’s dramatic landscapes range from dense woodlands to open floodplains, with the shimmering soda lake at its heart.
