You will be picked up early in the morning from your Nairobi hotel or the airport by your safari driver-guide for a scenic drive to the world-famous Maasai Mara. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the Great Rift Valley along the way, with a brief stop for photos and refreshments. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch, followed by a relaxing afternoon before heading out for your first evening game drive. As the sun sets over the savannah, watch herds of elephants, antelopes, and possibly a pride of lions on the hunt. Return for dinner and overnight stay at your Mara accommodation.

After an early breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive in the park with your packed lunch. The Maasai Mara offers some of the best wildlife viewing in Africa, home to the Big Five—lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo—as well as cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and an abundance of birdlife. You’ll enjoy your picnic lunch in the open plains or near the Mara River, where hippos and crocodiles bask in the water. Later in the afternoon, return to the lodge for relaxation and dinner.
