Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park

In the morning, your safari guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and set out for Tarangire National Park. The drive takes you across scenic Maasai plains dotted with acacia trees and lively village scenes, where Maasai herders in colorful attire tend to their cattle and donkeys.
Known for its vast elephant herds, Tarangire also hosts an incredible range of wildlife. From the open roof of your 4x4 vehicle, you’ll explore the park’s sweeping savannas, seasonal swamps, and the Tarangire River, a vital water source for countless animals. Keep your eyes open for zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, and wildebeests, as well as lions or leopards resting in the shade.
After an exciting day of game drives and breathtaking scenery, you’ll head to your lodge for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay amid the tranquil sounds of the African night.

Day 3
Karatu to Ndutu

After breakfast, we depart from Karatu and make our way into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The journey takes us across the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands toward the Ndutu region, where your game drive begins with a focus on the spectacular Great Migration.
Between December and April, vast herds of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles gather around the Ndutu plains, drawn by the lush grazing grounds between the Serengeti and Ngorongoro. This is also the prime time for predators on the hunt. From January onward, the calving season begins, offering a remarkable opportunity to witness thousands of newborn wildebeests taking their first steps in the wild.

Day 4
Ndutu to Ngorongoro

After an early breakfast, you’ll set out for your final game drive in the Ndutu area, making the most of the morning light to spot wildlife at its most active. Later in the afternoon, you’ll continue your journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most remarkable natural wonders.
Formed millions of years ago by the collapse of a massive volcano once taller than Kilimanjaro, the crater now stretches about 304 square kilometers and plunges 610 meters deep. It is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including around 25,000 large mammals. After your day of exploration, you’ll head to your lodge on the crater rim for dinner and a restful overnight stay overlooking this breathtaking landscape.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After breakfast, you’ll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch. Renowned for its exceptional concentration of wildlife, the crater offers some of the best game viewing in Tanzania. As you explore the crater floor, you’ll encounter herds of wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, and elephants and with a bit of luck, you might even spot the rare black rhino grazing in the distance. In the afternoon, you’ll ascend the crater rim and drive back to Arusha, reflecting on the incredible experiences of your safari adventure.
