1-Day To Mikumi NP from Dar Es Salaam by Sgr Train

• You'll be collected from the airport.

You will be picked at 4:30 Am from your hotel in Dar es Salaam, and being transferred to the SGR station for your at 6:00 am Train. Enjoy journey through Tanzania’s countryside as you travel to Morogoro, arriving around 7:40 am. Upon arrival, you’ll be met by our driver who will transfer you to Mikumi National Park.

At the park gate, your professional safari guide will be waiting with an open-sided 4x4 safari jeep to begin your adventure. Enjoy a thrilling game drive through Mikumi’s vast savannah plains, home to elephants, giraffes, lions, zebras, buffaloes, and many other animals. Around midday, you’ll stop for lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon game drive, exploring more of Mikumi’s wildlife-rich landscapes.

Around 4:00 pm, you’ll exit the park and begin your transfer back to the Morogoro SGR station to catch the evening train departing at 7:25 pm. Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam, our driver will meet you at the station and transfer you back to your hotel.
