Day 1

Arusha - Lake Manyara National Park

Arusha - Lake Manyara National Park

You will be welcomed in Arusha town by our professional driver-guide, who will provide a short safari briefing. With picnic lunch in hand, we’ll embark on a 90-minute drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive. Lunch will be enjoyed inside the park, after which we will continue exploring until late evening before heading to camp.

Lake Manyara is one of Tanzania’s most striking wildlife areas, set at the base of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. Its vast but shallow soda lake covers two-thirds of the park and supports diverse habitats. Here, you’ll encounter large elephant herds, Manyara’s renowned tree-climbing lions, and flocks of flamingos drawn by the lake’s algae.

Dinner and overnight stay at camp.

Day 2

Ngorongoro Crater back to Arusha

Ngorongoro Crater back to Arusha

After breakfast at the camp, with picnic lunch packed, we will descend nearly 600 meters into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day morning game drive. Renowned as one of the most densely populated wildlife sanctuaries in Africa, the crater is home to an estimated 30,000 animals, including Tanzania’s rare and endangered black rhinos. Thanks to its year-round water supply and rich grazing grounds, Ngorongoro National Park sustains an incredible diversity of species, vast herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and the majestic African elephant.

Adding to its allure, the park boasts a remarkable concentration of predators: lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard, often requiring a keen eye to spot. We’ll pause to enjoy our picnic lunch within the crater before making our way back to Arusha, where you’ll be dropped off at your preferred location or transferred to the airport for your flight home.
