5-Day Delta Discovery with Johills

Arrival

We will pick you up at Maun Airport in the morning and drive you for about 1.5 hours to the Okavango Delta. During this drive with us you will already have plenty of opportunities to experience the diverse flora and fauna of Botswana. Once we arrive at the camp, our crew will give you refreshments and information regarding your stay with us. After you are settled, and had lunch, we will begin with a bush walk with our experienced guide. After this adventurous tour, you can sit at the fire place or relax before we will take you on a short mokoro ride. Chances to see many water birds or crocodiles are high. Back at the camp, dinner will be served, and you will have time to rest.

Okavango Delta

After waking up to the sound of birds and, perhaps, hyenas, you will be having a tasty breakfast, and afterwards we will be going on a morning bush walk. We have to be careful then as many predators slowly start retreating from the night before. Back from this trip, dinner will be served by our crew and you will have time for yourself. Later on, we will do another, longer, mokoro ride and thus complete the schedule of the first two days. Dinner and relaxing time are followed by this.

Moremi Game Reserve

After waking up from another night in the wilderness camp, and having had breakfast, we will be doing a day trip with you to the Moremi Game Reserve, which is known for its teeming wildlife. There we will be doing a game drive. We will also have the opportunity to meet the Batswana people there who are indigenous to the area. This will give you an interesting insight into their traditional lifestyles and customs. Before we drive back to the camp, there will be a sundowner.

This is the day we have to say goodbye to you. After having had breakfst, you will have time to gather all of your belongings before you will go back with us to Maun Airport, or another destination in Maun, if requested, on another scenic drive.
