After an early breakfast, meet your guide at 06:00 for hotel pickup and depart Nairobi, heading north. En route, stop at the Equator line before arriving at Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Laikipia at 09:30. This 24,000-acre private reserve, set at the foothills of the Aberdares and Mount Kenya, is home to the Big Five, East Africa’s largest black rhino sanctuary, and a rich variety of wildlife and birdlife. Begin with a visit to Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary to see rescued chimps in natural enclosures. Continue with a game drive across plains, woodlands, and thickets to spot lions, elephants, rhinos, leopards, buffalo, cheetahs, zebras, and wild dogs. Optional experiences include a night game drive, rhino encounters, community visits, guided bush walks, and lion and wild dog tracking—ensuring an unforgettable safari adventure.
