Your safari begins with a scenic morning flight from Arusha to the heart of Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival, embark on your first game drive across the endless plains where you may spot lions lounging in the shade, elephants roaming under acacia trees, giraffes browsing treetops, zebras, wildebeests, and if lucky, cheetahs stalking their prey. The vast savannah and iconic landscapes of the Serengeti provide a stunning backdrop for your first taste of African wildlife. In the evening, return to Golden Safari Camp for dinner and overnight.

Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti, enjoying morning and afternoon game drives in search of the park’s abundant wildlife. You may encounter predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs, alongside elephants, buffalo, zebras, and wildebeests grazing across the plains. Bird enthusiasts will delight in the variety of colorful species that inhabit the area. Depending on the season, you may witness part of the Great Migration, as thousands of wildebeests and zebras move across the plains. Return to Harmony Safari Camp in the evening for relaxation and dinner.

Day 3

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, depart Serengeti and drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive surrounded by dramatic volcanic scenery. Here you have the chance to see the Big Five — lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhinos — as well as hippos, flamingos, zebras, giraffes, and wildebeests. A picnic lunch on the crater floor allows you to soak in the breathtaking views while watching wildlife roam freely. In the late afternoon, ascend the crater rim and transfer to Bougainvillea Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight.
