Day 1

Mombasa to Tsavo East National Park

Begin your day early with a departure from your hotel in either Nairobi or Mombasa. Travelers coming from Mombasa North or Diani Beach will continue toward Tsavo East National Park, entering through the Bachuma Gate. Once inside, enjoy a game drive in search of wildlife such as large elephant herds, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, cheetahs, zebras, impalas, and various monkey species.

You will then head to your lodge for lunch and check in at Ashnil Aruba Lodge, where you can relax before the next activity. In the late afternoon, set out again for another game drive that continues until the park closes.

Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Ashnil Aruba Lodge.

Begin your day with an early sunrise game drive, taking in the fresh morning air and watching wildlife as they start their day. Afterward, return to the lodge for a late breakfast before departing for Amboseli. Along the way, enjoy brief game-viewing opportunities as you make your way to the park. You’ll arrive at Amboseli in time for lunch and check in at Kibo Safari Tented Camp. Later in the afternoon, head out for another exciting game drive.
Amboseli is one of Kenya’s most famous wildlife destinations. Positioned near the Kenya–Tanzania border, the park sits at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro whose snow-capped peak creates a breathtaking backdrop on clear days. Known as “The Home of Elephants,” Amboseli hosts some of the largest elephant herds in the country. The park also supports abundant wildlife, including giraffes and various antelope species. Predators such as lions and even rhinos can also be spotted among the plains and ancient volcanic rock formations surrounding the area.

Begin your day with an early morning game drive before returning to the lodge for breakfast. After your meal, depart Amboseli and head toward Tsavo West National Park, enjoying game viewing along the way. One of the highlights of the day is a visit to Mzima Springs, where the crystal-clear waters allow you to observe hippos and fish, with chances of spotting crocodiles and playful monkeys as well.

You will then continue to Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge for check-in and some relaxation. In the late afternoon, you may visit the Rhino Sanctuary before returning to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge.

After an early breakfast, spend the morning exploring Tsavo West National Park with your driver-guide, taking in the park’s diverse landscapes and wildlife at a relaxed pace. Later, exit the park and continue your journey either to your coastal beach hotel or back to Nairobi, depending on your preference.
The remainder of the evening is at your leisure, marking the conclusion of this four-day adventure.
