Arusha to Kilimanjaro Gate to Arusha

Your journey begins early in the morning with a drive from Arusha to Kilimanjaro National Park (Marangu Gate). After registration, you start your guided hike through lush rainforest trails, home to colobus monkeys, waterfalls, and rare bird species.
You will hike up to Mandara Hut (2,700m), enjoy views of the Maundi Crater, and then descend back to the gate.
Later in the afternoon, drive back to Arusha for dinner and overnight.

Arusha to Southern Serengeti

After breakfast, depart for the Ndutu region, the heart of the Great Migration Calving Season (Dec–March).
Arrive in time for an afternoon/evening game drive where you explore the open plains filled with thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas following the herds.

Excellent chances to see hunting predators

Ndutu Game Drive

Today is dedicated entirely to exploring Ndutu. With both off-road driving permission and the highest wildlife concentration of the season, Ndutu offers unmatched photographic and wildlife opportunities.

Your guide will take you to witness:

Calving wildebeest herds

Big cats (cheetahs, lions, leopards)

Open plains & woodland ecosystems

Seasonal lakes attracting flamingos

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush before continuing your game drive until evening.

Ndutu to Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to one of the densest wildlife populations in Africa.
Descend 600 meters into the crater for a full game drive where you can spot:

Lions

Hippos

Elephants

Flamingos

Hyenas, zebras & wildebeests

After lunch at the hippo poolside, continue your game viewing before driving back to Arusha in the evening.

Arusha to Materuni Village to Arusha

After breakfast, drive to Materuni Village, located on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Start with a guided hike to the stunning Materuni Waterfall, one of Kilimanjaro’s tallest and most beautiful falls.
Later, visit a local Chagga family for an authentic coffee-making experience — from bean picking to roasting, grinding, and brewing your own fresh cup.

After the tour, transfer to Kilimanjaro/Arusha Airport.
