Lake Nakuru / Lake Naivasha National Park
Begin your day with a refreshing morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, exploring its diverse habitats and rich wildlife. After your drive, enjoy lunch en route as you proceed to Lake Naivasha, the highest and one of the most scenic lakes in the Great Rift Valley. Known for its tranquil beauty, Lake Naivasha is a haven for bird watchers, with more than 400 recorded species thriving around its shores. The area is also a popular weekend escape for Nairobi residents who come to enjoy sailing, fishing, and water sports. Although the lake’s cold waters—due to its high altitude—prevent crocodiles from living here, hippos are commonly seen wallowing near the shoreline. Surrounding the lake, fertile vineyards flourish, producing grapes for Kenya’s growing wine industry. The journey to Naivasha offers both relaxation and spectacular landscapes, making it a perfect stop for nature lovers and photographers alike.
