Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by an Erimpala Safaris representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. As you settle in, enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of this bustling safari hub surrounded by views of Mount Meru. Spend the rest of the evening relaxing, unwinding by the pool, or exploring the hotel’s amenities. Your safari briefing will be provided to prepare you for the adventure ahead.

Day 2
Arusha - Tarangire National Park
Arusha - Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive to the iconic Tarangire National Park, known for its majestic baobab trees and one of the largest elephant populations in Tanzania. Enjoy a full-day game drive as you explore the park’s diverse habitats, spotting elephants, lions, zebras, buffaloes, giraffes, and an incredible variety of birdlife. Tarangire’s river attracts wildlife year-round, offering excellent photo opportunities and peaceful scenery. Later in the afternoon, head to Karatu for a relaxing evening at your lodge.

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a spectacular morning game drive. The crater’s enclosed ecosystem offers some of the best wildlife viewing in Africa, with chances to spot black rhinos, lions, buffaloes, elephants, hippos, and large flocks of flamingos along the alkaline lake. After enjoying your packed lunch, continue your journey toward the legendary Serengeti. As you enter the vast plains, keep an eye out for cheetahs, giraffes, and migrating herds. Arrive in Central Serengeti for an evening of relaxation at your comfortable mid-range camp.

After breakfast, depart your lodge and drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a compact yet biodiverse paradise famous for its lush groundwater forest, large elephant populations, and the iconic tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a game drive through varied landscapes, from dense jungle to open lakeshore, where you may spot hippos, giraffes, baboons, buffaloes, and vibrant flocks of flamingos. After lunch inside the park, begin your journey back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon. This marks the end of your incredible 5-day safari with Erimpala Safaris.
